Pandya, representing Baroda, was batting on 10 as he attempted to end the match with a big shot. Instead, he eventually found the fielder in the deep and handed bowler Ravi Bishnoi his wicket. As Bishnoi celebrated with his arms in the air, Pandya, who was already moving to run, paused when he realized he had been dismissed.
In a lighthearted and sporting gesture, the Mumbai Indians (MI) captain joined in the celebration of his own wicket, giving Bishnoi a high five, followed by a cheerful running hug before leaving the field. The moment drew smiles from both sides and became one of the most memorable highlights of the match.

Aarya Desai top-scored with 22 off 15 balls, hitting three fours and a six in an otherwise collapsing innings. Baroda’s bowlers were exceptional, with Raj Limbani producing an eye-catching spell of 3 for 5 in 2.1 overs. Atit Sheth also impressed, taking 2 for 14. Gujarat’s innings was characterized by frequent wickets, poor shot selection and minimal partnerships, including a crucial run-out that further derailed their progress.

Vishnu Solanki contributed a fluent 27 off 15 balls while Pandya chipped in with 10 runs before being dismissed in entertaining fashion.
