He shared the comic clip on his Instagram account. Initially, Rohit was given the pen. However, he immediately sensed something was wrong and quickly identified the pen as one of the shock cages. The electric pen, which can deliver a mild shock when someone presses the top, was passed on to a member of the support staff before Dhawal Kulkarni was pranked.

The shocked reactions of both, especially Dhawal during a gym session involving Shardul Thakur among others, left Rohit in an uproar. The comment section was filled with Rohit’s fans who were amused by his cheerful personality.

Rohit made an international comeback for it India after a gap of several months following the title-winning Champions Trophy in the UAE in February-March this year. He recently played all three ODIs against Australia and also secured the Player of the Series award with 202 runs in three innings at a strike rate of 85.59.

His unbeaten 121-run knock off 125 deliveries in the third ODI in Sydney led India to a convincing victory as the former Indian skipper forged a solid unbeaten stand of 168 runs off 170 balls with Virat Kohli to post a nine-wicket win with 69 balls to spare. However, the Men in Blue lost the series 2-1.

Rohit, who has already retired from T20Is and Test cricket, is now expected to feature in the national line-up in the upcoming South African series at home. The all-format series is expected to include two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is. The ODIs will be played in Ranchi (November 30), Raipur (December 3) and Visakhapatnam (December 6).
