Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium was filled with more than 10,000 supporters who flocked to the venue to watch Rohit Sharma represent Mumbai against Sikkim in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26. The former India skipper returned to the VHT after a gap of seven years.
The Rajasthan Cricket Association had announced free entry to the venue. The venue was expectedly packed, with spectators cheering Rohit on with chants of ‘Mumbai cha raja, Rohit Sharma (Mumbai’s King, Rohit Sharma)’ when Rohit was on the field during Sikkim’s innings after the Lee Yong Lepcha-led unit won the toss and elected to bat.
