President Trump will deliver remarks on energy tonight at the Port of Corpus Christi, Texas, ahead of next week’s March 3 primaries.
Trump has not yet made an official endorsement in the three-way U.S. Republican Senate primary between Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, RINO Sen. John Cornyn and U.S. Rep. Wesley Hunt. Still, Cornyn was invited to travel with the president on Air Force One, according to the White House guest list. Senator Ted Cruz, Representative Lance Gooden, Representative Michael Cloud, National Border Patrol Council Chairman Paul Perez, and actor Dennis Quaid were also on the flight to Texas.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Ken Paxton attended Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday as a guest of Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), who argued that Trump’s silence in the race is an endorsement of Paxton to replace Cornyn. “If you don’t support a 24-year-old sitting president, what does that say to you?” he told reporters.

The White House has one statement on Friday, highlighting Trump’s U.S. energy agenda in Texas, where gas prices, home prices and rents have fallen and hundreds of billions of dollars are being invested in Texas manufacturing.
“Today he returns to a state thriving under Republican leadership – powered by American energy dominance, bold tax cuts, secure borders and massive private sector investment,” the statement said.
“Under President Trump, Texas families are seeing real results in lower costs, higher wages, safer streets and more jobs – and there is much more to come as the Trump administration works tirelessly to repair the damage of the Biden era.”
Before he speaks, the president will receive an “Energy Briefing,” the White House said.
This comes after Energy Minister Chris Wright approved a 12% expansion for Cheniere Energy’s Corpus Christi liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal to export more LNG on Thursday.
The president is expected to begin speaking at 3:35 p.m. ET.
