[WATCH] Asia Cup 2025, Final: Arshdeep, Jitesh, Harshit Mimic Abrar Ahmed’s trademark celebration as India beats Pakistan

Arshdeep SinghJitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana took a playful excavation at Pakistan Cricket player Abrar Ahmed after India had conquered the Asia Cup 2025 final and beat Pakistan in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday 28 September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The Left Arm Pacer imitated Ahmed’s characteristic shaking heads and his teammates participated in the pleasure. In an Instagram video shared via the Arshdeep account, Wicketkeeper-Batter Sanju Samson was also seen laughing at the antics of his fellow cricketers.

On the field, India has lifted the Asia Cup for the ninth time, thanks to a match-winning performance through Tilak for sure. The left -handed scored an unbeaten 69 of 53 balls, including three four and four Sixes, which led India to victory. He received crucial support from Shivam Dube, who scored 33, and Sanju Samson, who added 24 points. Faheem Ashraf was the striking bowler of Pakistan and ended with three wickets for 29 points.

In the first innings, Pakistan 146 placed all the way in 19.1 Overs as Sahibzada Farhan Topscored with 57 points from 38 balls, which hit five and three sixes, while Fakhar Zaman contributed 46 and Saim Ayub 14.

India’s bowling attack dominated everywhere. Kuldeep Yadav was the star and took 4/30, while Varun Chakravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah and Axar Patel each contributed two wickets.

With this victory, India completed the Asia Cup with an unbeaten record and won all seven games in the tournament. The men in blue also defeated Pakistan three times in this edition and claimed their dominance about their arch rivals.

India will now look at their next assignment, one of two games against West Indies from 2 October in Ahmedabad, while Pakistan goes back to play a two-match against South Africa from October 12.
