Lonzo Ball may be heading to the Bay.
The Warriors have their sights set on adding the oft-injured former No. 2 overall pick, according to NBA insider Jake Fischer.
Chris Haynes reports that “multiple teams have requested” to look at Ball’s medical records “to make a decision on signing him.”
Ball, 28, was traded by the Cavaliers to the Jazz on Wednesday in exchange for two second-round picks.
Shortly after the deal closed, it was revealed that Utah planned to part ways with Ball, giving the UCLA product a chance to choose his next destination.
At the time, the Wizards and Hornets, among others, were reportedly interested in Ball.
In 35 games for Cleveland this season, Ball averaged 4.6 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 20.9 minutes.
The ball has been bouncing around since he was taken by the Lakers in the 2017 NBA Draft.
In 2019, he was dealt to the Pelicans in the blockbuster trade that sent Anthony Davis to Southern California before being traded again to the Bulls in 2021.
Injuries have plagued Ball throughout his NBA career, but never more so than in Chicago, when he missed two full seasons from 2022 to 2024 due to various knee issues and procedures.

At some points during the rehabilitation process, it looked like Ball’s career might be over, with the flashy ballhandler telling reporters he couldn’t “run or jump” in September 2021.
He made a triumphant return early in the 2024/25 season, but recurring wrist injuries limited him to just 35 games.
Ball signed a two-year, $20 million deal with Chicago during that season but was dealt to Cleveland in the summer.
