If Dallas chooses to move Anthony Davis, several teams are expected to at least explore the idea. The Hawks, Raptors, Warriors and Bucks are all said to have some level of interest, though all face obvious limitations.
Atlanta is notable for its continued efforts to trade Trae Young. The Hawks could potentially structure a Davis deal around Young as the key salary piece, or pursue Davis after a Young trade creates more flexibility, possibly using Kristaps Porzingis as part of the outgoing cash.
Toronto’s interest is tied to the need for frontcourt help, but matching Davis’ salary would require sending out long-term contracts, something Dallas reportedly wants to avoid. That makes a simple deal difficult.
Golden State’s path is even narrower. Without Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green, the Warriors have little chance of matching Davis’ contract, and neither player is expected to be made available.
Milwaukee remains focused on building around Giannis Antetokounmpo rather than reshaping its core. The Bucks would also struggle to match salary and would lack the available assets that could make a deal more attractive to Dallas.
