I focus my review on 2 of their premium golf ball models, the Volvik Condor and the Condor X. The Condor is a 3-part golf ball, while the Condor X is a 4-part golf ball. The Condor has an 85 compression, while the Condor X has a 95 compression. The Condor is more for swing speeds of 80+ MPH, while the Condor X is for more swing rates of more than 90+ MPH. Both offer a low long game spider and both offer an excellent short game spider.
Volvik As mentioned, many other golf balls that I have also tried offers, including their VTU3, VTU4, Vista, Axia and Magma. I was just curious how their other golf balls would work with my swing speed and most did an above -average work, and were all so long, if not a little longer than my current daily golf ball. They also had an excellent greenside spider, so I was able to touch my chips and pitches and let them stop quickly, perhaps not as fast as a golf ball with a urethane cover, but better than a traditional distance or speed golf ball.
However, when it comes to the Condor line of Volvik There were some noticeable benefits. First of all, the condor was very long from the tee and felt it very soft, even when placing. This is similar to the golf ball that I normally play, but the condor was absolutely a little longer. The Condor X was an explosive golf ball of the tee. I saw at least 10-15 meters longer, which was shocking to me. The only difference that I could really see was when placing, the Condor X also seemed to go further from the putter face, so that it would go along the hole, while the condor went so closer to the hole when it went so closer.
I should say that both the Condor and the Condor X were excellent and fun to play. I reached Long Par 4s easily and with shorter irons than usual, which felt great. Both Volvik Condor golf balls had top stop and turn on the greens that you expect in a high-quality golf ball. If I would choose one, I think I would rather give the Condor if I fit in the 80+ MPH Swing speed, and the well was just a little better with it. I let a few golf buddies try the condor x golf balls, and they crushed their discs and they were surprised.
I can also say after playing the Volvik VTU 3, VTU 4 and Axia with ionomer covers were all very good golf balls. The only noticeable difference between them and the high-performance urethane cover condor golf balls was that they didn’t have that greenside spider. They were all very long and had a good feeling for them with my irons and wells. So if the price is a concern, these golf balls are still all top quality golf balls for slightly less money.
