On Tuesday night, the Toronto Blue Jays played Game 4 in Los Angeles against the Dodgers in the World Series. Trailing 1-0 in the top of the third, Guerrero Jr. a two-run home run, his seventh home run of the season.

This gave the Blue Jays a 2-1 lead, but Guerrero Jr.’s home run. also took over sole possession of the top spot for most home runs by a Blue Jay in postseason history. Guerrero Jr.’s home run also happened to be the first extra-base hit he hit in the World Series.

Guerrero Jr.’s first postseason home run came in the 2025 postseason, hitting a solo home run in Game 1 of the American League Divisional Series. Guerrero Jr.’s biggest postseason home run came in Game 2, setting up a grand slam en route to the Blue Jays’ second straight win. Guerrero Jr. also hit a home run in Game 3, the Blue Jays’ first loss of the postseason.

After three quiet games in which he recorded just one hit in Game 4 of the ALDS and Games 1 and 2 of the American League Championship Series, Guerrero Jr. his fourth home run of the season in Game 3 of the ALCS. He then hit another in Game 4 of the ALCS, as well as Game 6.

Going into Tuesday’s Game 4, Guerrero Jr. five hits in 15 at bats, but all five of his hits were singles. Hopefully this will help him turn a corner in this series and get him hot for the rest of the World Series.
