In 2024, Vivo announced its new flagship series of telephones in the form of the VIVO X200. If you have skipped last year’s model pending the successor, you are lucky. According to a few official renders shared on X by Sudhanshu Ambhore, the design of the VIVO X300 and X300 Pro are unveiled.

For those who may have hoped for a change in design, you will be disappointed. Assuming these are the official renders, it seems that Vivo did not do much. The design of the VIVO X300 and X300 Pro looks free to its predecessor. The back seems to be flatter, where the edges of the back were somewhat curved in the X200. Apart from that, however, the enormous camera multiple remains.
The Tipster also noted that the VIVO X300 Pro has an extra physical button. This button can be found on the left side of the phone frame. We don’t know for sure what the button should do, but Tipster Abhishek Yadav speculates that can be a multifunctional button. This can be comparable to Apple’s action button, who can adjust users to do different things.
What else can we expect?
The new Vivo Android telephones have not yet been officially announced. However, a VIVO director recently demonstrated that the X300 Pro scored more than 4 million points on the Antutu benchmark. This is due to the use of MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chipset. This also confirms that Vivo will not go with Qualcomm for his next generation of flagship telephone.
We have also heard that the VIVO X300 will have a 6.31-inch 8t LTPO display. It comes with a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a counting camera and a faster USB port. Regarding the VIVO X300 Pro, the handset is expected to see an upgrade in storage. It will now contain double UFS 4.1 storage. Vivo claims that this will improve reading and writing speeds by more than 70%. Whether that is true can still be seen. However, the improved storage must improve the speeds when it comes to storing photos and videos made by the phone.
Last but not least, it is also said that the X300 Pro will receive a signal amplifier -chip. This is expected to stimulate both WiFi and cellular connectivity.
