Vitor Belfort suffered from TRT -Ban, says UFC commentator Joe Rogan

UFC Legend Vorror Belfort suffered from testosterone replacement therapy, says commentator Joe Rogan.

Vitor Belfort used to be an absolute natural force. He was so good that he even managed to have more than one ‘prime’, although as we know now, much of the last success he had come with the help of TRT. After it was banned from use in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, there was a remarkable drop in its shape.

Nevertheless, Vorror Belfort is still considered by many as an icon in the world of mixed martial arts. That may not be the case if you speak to someone like Michael Bisping, but many MMA fans still have a lot of time for Vitor and the things he could achieve in the cage.

During a recent podcast with Mark Kerr, Joe Rogan gave his opinion about the career of Vitor Belfort and his TRT use.

Joe Rogan’s vision of Vitor Belfort

“He is an interesting case study,” said Rogan about Belfort.

“First of all, a pioneer, anyway? Furthermore in the UFC at the age of 19, went on and won the tournament on 19, namely bananas.

“And then we saw him step away from the sauce, and his body faded a bit. And then they brought back the replacement of testosterone. When the replacement of testosterone came in, it suddenly became TRT Vorror and he was the scariest motorcycle – there for five fights, or what it was, before they killed the TRT – specialization.

“Then it all went away for him. Like, that should be a commercial for testosterone replacement.”
