Team India Cricketers Arshdeep Singh and Ishan Kishan were confronted with a recoil after a Snapchat interaction in which their comments were aimed at teammate Sai Sudharsan. During the viral video, Singh and Kishan made repeated jokes over the complexion and facial features of Sudharsan, including comments about his lips.
Arshdeep Singh is included in the India’s team for the Asia Cup 2025, from 9 September in the United Arab Emirates (VAE). Singh will be one of the three most important pacers besides Jasprit Bumrah and Harshit Rana, while Ishan Kishan and Sai Sudharsan have not been selected in the 15-member team.

During the Snapchat interaction, Arshdep Singh Ishan Kishan welcomed him by calling him ‘the pride of Bihar’, but the conversation quickly changed to Sai Sudharsan.

Kishan referred jokes to Sudharsan as the ‘King of Tamil Nadu’, while Singh made comments about the appearance of the camera and Sudharsan.
The duo continued the exchange by mocking the lips and complexion of Sudharsan and giving rise to laughter from Kishan. However, the video criticized the racial insensitive undertone of their comments.

“Hello guys, Tamil Nadu King Bhi Dikha (hello guys, also shows the king of Tamil Nadu),” Kishan replied.
“Camera piche se Ganda hai. Camera ni tha, sai toh smart hai (the camera is dirty from the back. The camera was not clean, Sai is smart),” Arshdep added.
“Lips Kaha Hai (where are the lips?),” Said Kishan.
“Lips Ni Dikh Rhe (the lips are not visible),” said Arshdep.

Arshdeep Singh missed debut in the Anderson-Detulkar Trophy 2025 against England
From Arshdeep Singh, he was expected to make his debut during the Anderson-Retulkar Trophy 2025 against England. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were the certain starters, and Prasidh Krishna preferred Arshdeep for the three tests.
The left arm Pacer also suffered an injury for the game in Manchester. He was excluded from the fourth test, but stayed on the couch for the fifth and final test.
Arshdeep played 21 first-class matches and picked up 66 wickets with an average of 30.37, including two five-wicket distance. Although he has had difficulty reaching the test side, Arshdeep has cemented his place in T20is, where he is the most important wicket-maker of India in the shortest size of the game.
India Name 15-players team for 2025 Asia Cup, Suryakumar Yadav
India, the title defender, recently appointed their 15-player team for the 2025 Asia Cup in the VAE, with Suryakumar Yadav who led the team. The Men in Blue will compete for their ninth title in the Marquee Tournament.
The tournament starts on September 9, where India opens their campaign against the VAE on 10 September in Dubai. They play their next collisions against Pakistan on September 14 and Oman on September 19, respectively. India plays their first two games in Dubai before moving to Abu Dhabi.
After the group stage, the Super 4 round is planned from 20 to 26 September in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The final takes place on September 28 in Dubai.
