Video: Mike Perry fights Eddie Alvarez’s crew at BKFC Knucklemania 6

Former BKFC foes Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez apparently had some unfinished business to take care of outside the ring.In a video that surfaced Tuesday, Perry appears to be involved in a verbal dispute with people in the crowd — with Alvarez standing nearby — at BKFC Knucklemania 6 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia. Eventually, that interaction turned into a full-blown fight, and footage appears to show Perry being punched and kicked by multiple people in the audience after he fell to the ground.

Eventually, security was able to intervene and separate both parties. Meanwhile, Perry responded to the incident on social media.“They welcomed me to Philly as one of them, and that floor was so slippery and his wife fell on her face, and I laughed at her,” Perry wrote. “Looks like I slipped under everyone in the first minute. I told you all, eventful.”

‘Deserved and requested’

On Tuesday, Alvarez issued his own response, suggesting there was more to the story than meets the eye.“There’s a lot more to this story than y’all know,” Alvarez wrote on Instagram Stories. “This was my wife, children and family here fighting with me. You all know the person I am and I am not sorry. It was deserved and it was asked for.”

“Ask Mike and he’ll agree. I’m glad Mike is doing well and no one was hurt. You can’t talk to someone’s family and expect him to be cordial. If you knew the story, you would understand.”

Perry and Alvarez faced each other at BKFC 56 in December 2023, with Perry winning via corner stoppage in the second round. Perry is considered the top star in BKFC these days, and promotion head David Feldman recently indicated that a big-name opponent would be next for the UFC veteran.
