Victoria Beckham has worn many hats during her life – pop star, fashion designer, WAG – but now she is about to attract a new one; That of a Netflix documentary star.
That’s true: a year after Netflix broadcast his documentary series about her husband David, Victoria gets his own series. With the title Victoria Beckham (of course), the catnip is for fans of fashion, pop and everything that nachedies.
But what is it about, and when is it out? This is what we know.
Netflix
It is a decades-overvoltage striving. Apparently the documentary is set to cover her time as a Spice Girl, part of her life with Beckham, and specifically her time as a fashion designer. Beckham launched her label of the same name in 2008 (something that was treated with contempt at the time) and struggled to make a win in the first years.
The show will culminate with Beckham’s autumn/ winter 2025 show at Paris Fashion Week, which took place in March of this year.
What did Victoria say about the series?

We already know a bit about the show thanks to the trailer that is now off.
Regarding why she decided to make the documentary now – well, enough time has passed that she can talk about her time as a pop star. “I was defined by a period of four years in my life. Those were the Spice Girls,” she told The Times this weekend.
“It took me almost two decades to fight that and I feel that I am only now looking back and talk about it. I am not going to lie, ask questions about when I was in the herbal girls, was quite activated. And I would say that it was the most difficult moments. It was almost like therapy for me.”
It sounds like making the documentary was a pretty raw process – and when he was asked if she had forbidden areas during filming, she replied: “No. I mean, I touch my family, I touch the Spice Girls, the problems we have had with the company, you know, the money we have lost – there have been many triggers.”
Beckham added that she cried during filming, which was unusual: it takes “quite a lot” to let her cry.
Very soon: the show will be broadcast on Netflix on Thursday, October 9. Not long to wait!
