While he makes his regularly planned appearance on the ‘Ray Longo Minute“Segment of the Anik and Florian PodcastWith UFC commentator John Anik next to his fellow gastheer, former UFC Title Challenger and commentator Kenny Florian, Longo, a legendary MMA coach, discussed the upcoming title match in which his Star student was involved.
Longo has led several hunters to championship gold, including Chris Weidman, Matt Serra, Aljamain Sterling and most recently, Merab Dvalishvili. Merab is in a bantam weight candidate Cory Sandhagen in a long -awaited matchup at UFC 320.
During the podcast, John Anik noted Longo, “I think Merab Dvalishvili is the largest MMA -Superster in America among active hunters.” Longo agreed, referring to the recent training of the champion film material With Demetrious Johnson, who is generally considered one of the top three hunters in MMA history. Ray Longo followed by saying: “You can clearly not go to sleep on a man like Sandhagen, but I think he only has one way to get Merab away there. He has to slow down a freight train for him.” As far as both parties are concerned, Ray Longo sees his hunter who secures another title defense and becomes a step closer to the largest of this generation.
