New York-De Comeback from Venus Williams will open the US next month, when she will enter the Relevant Doubles tournament with Reilly Opelka via a wildcard entry.
The 45-year-old Williams, who returned to the Tennis Tour last week after more than a year, and Opelka belonged to the 14 teams announced on Tuesday by the US Tennis Association for the mixed doubles event on 19-20 August.
Eight of the combinations received direct access to the field based on the highest combined current singles rankings, and six received wildcards from the USTA.
The players with stains in the bracket are nine who have won at least one Grand Slam Singles title and 14 that have been arranged in the WTA or ATP Top 10 for singles.

Badosa originally sought a place in the field with Stefanos Tsitsipas, while Draper would initially play next to Zheng Qinwen.
