Kat Droulers, Queensland Sales Director of Ad Sales in Paramount Australia, died.

Kat had been to Paramount for six years, including 8 months in the role, with previous desk positions in Brisbane in Carat Australia, Media Circus, Mitchell Media and IdeaWorks.

Kat was loved in the media landscape for almost three decades. She understood that great sale is about the field – it’s about people. She was a relationship builder who possessed that rare capacity to transform business partnerships into real friendships built on trust, authenticity and mutual respect.

Her intelligence, industrial knowledge and well -founded nature made her a beloved role model for countless professionals in the sector. Kat was incredibly generous with her time, sharing knowledge and cherishing rising talent with the same warmth and dedication that she brought to every aspect of her career. She treated everyone consistently with respect, balancing trust with warmth in a way that makes colleagues and customers feel appreciated and heard.

As a mentor, Kat Gul was with her time, wisdom and encouragement. She had an instinctive understanding of how to raise the people around her, and approached challenges with creativity, optimism and a relentless conviction in the potential of her team. Her leadership style was built on authenticity and compassion – qualities that not only made her a respected colleague, but also a beloved friend for many in industry.

Her legacy lives on in the countless careers she influenced, the partnerships she feeded and the standard of Excellency and humanity that she brought to every interaction.
