Young Indian Slagman Vaibhav Suryavanshi gets the headlines in Australia with its impact performance in the first youth test against Australia U-19. The 14-year-old seizure registered a stunning century in Ian Healy Oval in Brisbane and established a new record for the fastest century on Australian soil in youth tests.

India dominated the opening day (Tuesday, September 30) of the first youth test against Australia, with their bowlers who dismantled the home team for 243. Deepesh Devendran took a five -wicket sleeve for only 45 points in 16.2 overs, while Kishan Kumar got three wickets.

Steven Hogan, who scored 92 of 246 balls, was the only artist for the home team, but the rest of the Batting Line -up could not contribute. The Indian openers gave an aggressive start in response to day 2.

For only 14 years and 188 days, Suryavanshi also became the youngest Slagman who scored a century in a youth test in Australia. This was his second youth test in fewer than 100 balls, after he had previously scored a 58-ball hundred against Australia U-19 in Chennai in 2024.

The left-handed Prodigy was also the same as the record of New Zealand legend Brendon McCullum of scoring two centuries in U-19 tests for men in fewer than 100 deliveries.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has emerged as one of the smartest young talents in India in different sizes. He set a new record for most career -sixes in Youth ODIs in the Youth Odi series against Australia in Ian Healy Oval, Overstrof Unmukt Chand.

Suryavanshi attracted attention in the Interior Cricket for the first time during the Ranji Trophy season 2023-24. He made his first -class debut just 12 years and 284 days against Mumbai and became the youngest player in the history of the tournament.

The left-handed Slagman then became the youngest player to sign an IPL contract. Rajasthan Royals (RR) bought him for the IPL 2025 season.

Vaibhav showed his explosive batting by scoring a 38-ball century, the fastest by an Indian and second fastest general in IPL history after Chris Gayle, who struck a 30-ball century in the 30-ball century in 2013.
