Emerging Colt Usyk (Ultimate Sniper) scored his first classic when he took the time of time, Benstud Standardreds youthful commitment for two -year -old Colts and Veldings on Melton on Saturday evening.
Starting a confidential supporting favorite that USSYK had won its previous two starts in Good Company near Wagga and was considered the class runner of the event, although his Stablemate Island Yankee was also in line for a hat trick after victories at Bendendo and Wagga.
Driver Nathan Jack brought Usyk to the fore and he resisted an early challenge from Major Blitz. I Sea Red was behind the leader.
But the flashy brown foal always seemed to travel well in himself and he clearly walked along his back directly to take an unbeatable lead when turning for the home.

Jack just allowed usyk to continue and he had almost 15 meters to save about Island Yankee who fluid without ever watching, to probably hinder Usyk with Kitzbuhel pleasure that came back for third place.
Nathan Jack was merciful after the event.
“I can’t take too much credit, because I only had him for a few weeks. All credit must go to my uncle David who has done all the early work with him. He has worked with other horses on great jumps and boundaries.”

As for usyk “He will now leave it a bit and prepare for the crown of the Sires and Fokkers at the end of the season. But you won’t see him for a while”.
