For the first time in 2025, Antonee Robinson will fight to prevent the US National Team.
Robinson was appointed Mauricio Pochettin’s 26 players Selection for the couple home friendships against Ecuador and Australia respectively. The Left Back of the Fulham, who quickly became one of the best in his position in the English Premier League, is only recently in action in West London again.
Robinson underwent a knee surgery at the end of last season, so that he had missed a period of the new campaign. The 28-year-old played the full 90 minutes in Marco Silva’s team on 23 September against Cambridge United before he made a short cameo from the bank in the 3-1 league of the Cottagers against Aston Villa last weekend.
After he has not played for the USMNT since November 2024, Robinson seems ready to return to his starting left -wing back this fall. Pochettino was pleased to welcome the versatile full back to the team, but also insisted that the coaching staff will be patient with him in these upcoming matches.
“We know that [Robinson] Is an important player for us and I think it’s a time to get him, “Pochettino said on Thursday during a press conference with reporters. “And of course we were talking with his club, we are going to try to manage in the best way, but it is important that he can be with us, with a group, with a group, with a teammate.”
Robinson has earned 50 caps for the USMNT so far since the debut in 2018. Columbus crew members Max Arftsen joins Robinson as the other who lags in the Pochettino team and expect them to both have time in the Penive International window of the calendar year.
The USMNT will compete against Ecuador on October 10 in Austin, Texas, before they close their window of two games against the Australians on October 14 in Commerce City, Colorado.
