University of Delaware – Volunteer Assistant -Coach, Herentennis





The tennis program of the University of Delaware is looking for a voluntary assistant coach to promote a positive environment for our student athletes, to support their athletic development, personal growth and preparation for life outside the university.

Responsibilities:

  • Helping with training, practice planning and player evaluation
  • Coach for some/most practices and home games; Lead practices on campus when head coach is gone.
  • Support for Game-Day Operations, Film Review and Recruut Campus visits
  • Contribute to program communication and involvement via social media platforms
  • Perform extra tasks such as assigned, in accordance with NCAA, C-USA and university regulations

Requirements:

  • Collegial or professional playing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in the university coaching
  • Available to be on campus no later than mid -January 2026
