While Manchester United’s first team continues to struggle under their ownership, INEOS has done one thing well: its youth recruitment.
They signed Chido Obi from Arsenal, while signing Sekou Kone for Ajax. They also agreed a pre-contract deal with Colombian teenager Cristian Orozco.
The Red Devils have no plans to stop in the short term. Now they have their eyes on Middlesbrough midfield duo Anton and Bailey Palmer.
The twins have announced they will leave Boro, with an announcement about their next club expected to be made next month, when they turn 17 and can sign a professional deal.

“After eight years at Middlesbrough FC we have made the decision to leave the club. We thank everyone who has been involved in developing us into the players we are today, from the medical staff to the coaches.”
“This club will always be a part of us. We have made lifelong memories and friendships, but it is now time for us to start a new journey,” the duo wrote in a joint statement on social media.
Among the highly regarded England U17 internationals, there are six Premier League clubs chasing their signature, including Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham, apart from the 20-time English champions.

United faces stiff competition
“The former Boro twins are expected to move as a couple with Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool, Man United, Arsenal and Tottenham after they all made offers.
“Other clubs also remain in the race, including Brighton and Hove Albion, who are known for nurturing young talent.”
While Bailey has four goals and three assists for Boro’s age group, Anton has one goal and two assists to his name.
Both have been deployed all over midfield and whoever signs the duo will get two very talented teenagers. Hopefully INEOS can leave its competitors behind in the race.
