It’s official: Emma Raducanu has made the switch from Nike Unpleasant Uniqlo. After teasing a mysterious first-time WTA ambassador with a faceless player photo on Instagram yesterday, the Japanese clothing brand today revealed the identity of its latest representative, confirming widespread speculation that the Brit was the one.
“Meet Emma Raducanu, our newest global brand ambassador and Britain’s top female tennis player,” Uniqlo announced, sharing a photo of the 2021 US Open champion wearing a light blue pleated dress. “Emma will champion Uniqlo’s LifeWear philosophy, which is committed to pursuing excellence, making meaningful contributions to society and empowering the next generation.”

Before signing with Nike in 2018, Raducanu was backed by Asics. The 23-year-old will debut the new partnership with Uniqlo at the upcoming BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.
