While Chris Padilla (155 lbs) moved up to championship weight for his lightweight match against Ismael Bonfim, the latter wasn’t so lucky on the scale. Bonfim, the brother of main event competitor Gabriel Bonfim, surpassed the non-title lightweight maximum of 156 pounds with 161 lbs.

As a result of his weight loss, Ismael Bonfim will give up 25 percent of his wallet to Chris Padilla. This UFC Vegas 111 fight is now contested as a catchweight.
