UFC star Colby Covington has unveiled two potential hunters with which he was dealing in his return to the cage.
As we know, Colby Covington is a pretty controversial hunter. Over the years he has done and said many things that the masses have left behind and wondering whether he is actually authentic compared to many of his colleagues hunters. At this point ‘chaos’ still has some stock at elite level, but nobody really knows how much.
In the aftermath of his defeats for Leon Edwards and Joaquin Buckley there were questions about the future in the long term of Colby Covington. In a recent interview, however, he made it clear that he intends to return, and he has a few possible opponents in mind – as well as a timeline.
Colby Covington regards possible future opponents
I spoke with Hunter Campbell and we are looking for October, November, “Covington told Helen Yee.” Maybe November in (Madison Square) Garden, but where Hunter also decides and the UFC, I am ready.
“If they have to push me to December in the T-Mobile (Arena), December sounds good in Vegas. But I want to come in there as quickly as possible and with a full training camp. I didn’t get a full training camp last time, so full training camp against everyone in the world: Let’s Go Hunter and UFC.”
The paddy Pimblett fight is super interesting for me, “said Covington.” In Miami he spoke sh*t, ran his mouth behind the scenes as if I didn’t even look at him or talked to him, and he wants to start some sh*t. He says what sh*t.
“He recently said in an interview that his doctor said he had liver failure for cutting up to 155. Koel, come on a weight class. Come to 170. Why are you a bully on weight, paddy? You are a wanderer. You are a gimmick. Your English accent and your little bowl is the only reason people know you, so you go, paddy.
