The Octagon returns to Australia for tonight’s UFC Perth event, a combat card with 12 bolt, led by Dominick Reyes vs. Carlos Ulberg.
Reyes (15-4 MMA) will participate in the competition on a three-fog winning series, with his most recent victory that is due to the first round knockout again Nikita Krylov (see that here). Prior to that triumph, ‘The Devastator’ colleague -before UFC title -finered Anthony Smith via TKO.
In the meantime, Carlos Ulberg (12-1 MMA) was most seen in action last March, where he defeated formerly Ultimate Fighting Championship Title holder Jan Blachowicz through unanimous decision. Prior to that victory, ‘Black Jag’ Volkan Ozdemir had defeated, also by decision.
UFC Perth is co-head due to a light heavyweight fight with Jimmy Crute over Ivan Erlan.
Crute (13-4-2 MMA) returns to action for the first time since scoring a submission victory at Marcin Prachnio at UFC 318. Before that ‘The Brute’ had gone over his previous five 0-3-2 Octagon appearance.
In the meantime, Ivan Erslan (14-5 MMA) will do the game of tonight to return, after dropping back-to-back decisions to Navajo Stirling and Ion Cutelaba.
Also to be seen on the UFC Perth head card setup tonight is a good weight fight between Jake Matthews and Neil Magny.
Matthews (22-7 MMA) competed the most in the Octagon Last July, where he defeated Chidi Njokuani through the entry in the first round (see that here). Before that came the Aussie Back-to-Back decision wins on Francisco Prado and Phillip Rowe.
In the meantime, Neil Magny (30-13 MMA) was last seen a month ago in action, where he scored a TKO victory on Elzeuu Zaleski Dos Santos. The victory was preceded by back-to-back-stop losing against Carlos Prates and Michael Morales.
The recommended Prelim from UFC Perth shows a collision of light heavyweights while Navajo Stirling takes on Rodolfo Bellato.
Stirling (7-0 MMA) currently has an undefeated professional record, with his two most recent victories under the UFC banner.
In the meantime, Rodolfo Bellato (12-2-1 MMA) will want to achieve his first victory since December 2023 in Perth tonight. ‘The Traitor’ comes from a no-contest with Paul Craig, who was preceded by a majority of trekking against Jimmy Crute.
