UFC confirms historic July 4, 2026 Fight on White House South Lawn – Spier and Fitness

UFC President Dana White has officially confirmed that the Prime Minister MMA organization in the world will hold an event in the White House in July 2026.

White posted a video on social media from Washington, DC stated that the deal is closed and the wheels can now be officially set in motion to make it happen. ESPN MMA also posted that video on Instagram.

“The fight of the White House is on … We did it today.”

White reported that he was in the White House on August 28 to insist on how to make the event possible. The date of the event is considered 4 July 2026, the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The collaboration between UFC and the White House was a goal for both white and President Donald Trump. At the moment, Trump had not made a statement about the confirmation of the event that took place. Trump expressed his confidence that this was worked out earlier in the year.

“We are going to have a UFC fight, think of this, based on the White House,” said Trump.

Trump has often attended UFC events over the years. As a result, he and White had developed a continuous friendship that helped with laying the foundation for this announcement.

If the Marqui event takes place, this would be the largest sporting event that is ever held in the White House. White said earlier that they are hopeful that the event could contain no fewer than 25,000 fans. There are no other details about the event, including potential fights on the map, because the event is almost a year.

However, speculation has already started about who will be on the map for this historical event. Among those who want to be on the map, former UFC is a heavyweight champion

Jon Jones, who had retired just before the news of the potential event, began to spread. Shortly thereafter, Jones again entered the USADA test pool for active athletes.
