Allen (20-4 MMA) last competed at UFC 304 in July 2024, where he defeated Giga Chikadze by unanimous decision. That win marked a two-fight loss for ‘Almighty’ as the Brit had previously dropped decision upsets to Movsar Evloev and Max Holloway respectively.
Meanwhile, Jean Silva (17-3 MMA) will compete tonight competition looking to bounce back after a TKO loss to Diego Lopes in his most recent effort last September. Another jab connects flush for the Ipswich native. Silva goes high with a kick, but it is blocked. Jean Silva with a hard body shot and then a cross to the left. Big flurry from Silva to end the opening round. He left Allen standing there stunned.

Round two of this UFC 324 main card featherweight bout begins and Jean Silva throws a front kick that just misses his opponent’s chin. A hard lock kick from ‘Lord’ connects flush. Arnold Allen with a nice left center. Silva with a low kick. He jumps in with a right and then scores a takedown. Allen immediately jumps back up, but eats a big chance in the process. The fighters lock up and Silva lands an elbow on the break. A few shots from ‘Almighty’. The Brazilian answers with an uppercut. Silva with a body shot. He follows that up with a low kick. Another nice joke from Allen. He jumps in with a flying knee. Jean Silva answers with a right hand up the middle. He lands another. The fighters clink and Arnold Allen lands a good knee. A spinning elbow and then a big right from Silva. Now a good left from the Brazilian. Less than 90 seconds remain in the round. Silva with three low kicks in a row. He lands a nice hook. Allen swings and misses with a head kick. A good right hand from Allen. Silva answers with a big combination. All with a main staircase that partially connects. Silva forces the clinch. We’re going to round three.

The third and final round of this featherweight fight begins and Jean Silva comes out aggressively. He lands a high kick and then a straight punch to the midsection. Another high kick partly connects for the Brazilian. He scores a nice 1-2. Arnold Allen swings and misses with a high kick. A right hand from Silva partially connects. Allen forces the clinch. The crowd is booing, but this is a good fight from both men. The fighters fight for position and eventually break. Silva with an elbow and then a body shot. He jumps on one leg for a moment and then chooses to push Allen against the cage. Jean Silva with a nice elbow. He drags Allen to the ground. ‘Almighty’ immediately jumps back up. There are 90 seconds left. Good body shot from Silva. All with a knee to the body in return. There is one minute left in the fight. Arnold Allen with a front kick to the body and then an elbow. Silva misses with a right hand. He points to the canvas. Silva screams and delivers a head kick. He lands it and then another. Allen is downstairs. Silva uses it as a trampoline. The horn sounds to end the fight.
