The official weigh-in for Saturday’s card took place earlier this morning. Overall, today’s weigh-ins for UFC 323 were successful.

Two UFC 323 Undercard fighters miss the mark at today’s official weigh-in

However, that does not mean that the fighters emerged unscathed throughout the process. A few fighters on the early portion of the undercard came in heavy during the morning weigh-in on Friday.

Mairon Santos (147 1/2 lbs), who will fight Muhammad Naimov (146 lbs), exceeded the non-title maximum for featherweight contenders by 1 1/2 lbs. As such, Santos will forfeit 20 percent of his pay to Naimov for UFC 323.

Another competitor will hand over the wage to his opponent after exceeding the prescribed pound amount earlier in the morning. Brunno Ferreira (189 lbs) will give up 20 percent of his wages to his opponent Marvin Vettori (186 lbs) for their middleweight fight in the featured early preliminary round. Both fights in question are still happening this weekend.
