UFC 323 – Main Card Predictions

UFC 323 will take place tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada, as the promotion hosts its final numbered event of the year.

As we know, the Ultimate Fighting Championship often ends the year with a bang – and that’s exactly what they plan to do tonight, on a night that features two world title fights. In the main event, Merab Dvalishvili defends the bantamweight gold against Petr Yan. In the co-main, it’s Alexandre Pantoja who defends the flyweight title against young contender Joshua Van.

There are a million and one different ways this could happen, but we can say with some confidence that UFC 323 has the potential to exceed all expectations.

Merab Dvalishvili defeated Petr Yan via unanimous decision

While Yan may have added a few more wrinkles to his game, Dvalishvili has the kind of ground control and pace that is difficult for just about anyone to keep up with. That is why we are confident that we can support him to retain the title.

Alexandre Pantoja defeated Joshua Van via submission in the second round

Joshua Van’s time is coming at the top of the flyweight division, but given his experience at this level compared to Pantoja, it’s hard to look beyond the champion walking away with the belt.

Brandon Moreno defeated Tatsuro Taira via split decision

Taira has looked very strong in the early stages of his UFC career, but Moreno is willing to step in and duke it out with whoever should get him over the finish line.

Payton Talbott defeated Henry Cejudo via TKO in the third round

Cejudo will want to go out in style with a win and while we think he’ll win a lot of the wrestling exchanges, this feels like the moment where Talbott goes out and really makes a statement.

Bogdan Guskov defeated Jan Blachowicz via unanimous decision

Blachowicz is the king of making his opponents look bad and while we think he’ll do that again here, Guskov has enough in his box to get past the Polish sensation via decision.
