The Octagon returns to Chicago for tonight’s UFC 319 event, a combat card with twelve bolt, led by Dricus du Plessis vs. Khamzat Chimaev.

Du Plessis (23-2 MMA) will want to earn his third consecutive defending defense when he went to the Octagon this evening. ‘Stillknocks’ recently participated in the UFC 312 event of February in Sydney, where he scored a unanimous decision victory on the former title holder Sean Strickland. Before that, the South African had submitted Israel Adesanya to UFC 305 in August last year.

In the meantime, Khamzat Chimaev (14-0 MMA) will enter his first career UFC title fight with a perfect professional record, with his most earlier victory via the first round entry against former UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker. Prior to that impressive show, ‘Borz’ came from a razor from close by the majority decision on Kamaru Usman on UFC 294.

UFC 319 is co-head through a Herenveergewige match with Lerone Murphy who takes on Aaron Pico.

Murphy (16-0-1 MMA) became the most in action last April, where he scored a unanimous decision victory on the former title champion Josh Emmett. ‘The Miracle’ won all five of his most recent Octagon Performances by decision, with his last finish in October 2021, when he eliminated Makwan Amirkhani.

In the meantime, Aaron Pico (13-4 MMA) will make his long-awaited UFC debut in Chicago tonight. The former Bellator-striking will participate in the competition on a three-fog winning series, with his most recent victory that comes over Henry Corrales via the first round of TKO.

Also to be seen on the UFC 319 card tonight is a long -awaited middleweight match between Jared Cannonier and Michael Page.

Cannonier (18-8 MMA) became the most in action last February, where he scored a TKO victory on the fourth round on Gregory Rodrigues. That victory broke a two-fighter-losing skid for the former middleweight title finer, because ‘The Killa Gorilla’ had previously dropped fights towards Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho respectively.

Meanwhile, Michael Page (23-3 MMA) recently participated in the UFC Saudi Arabia event of February, where he won a unanimous decision on Sharabutdin Magomedov. That victory was preceded by a decision loss for Ian Machado Garry on UFC 303 in June last year. ‘Venum’ went 2-1 in the Octagon
