Twins Place Catcher Ryan Jeffers on the wounded of the concussion
The twins have placed catcher Ryan Jeffers on the seven -day concussion list (retroactive on Friday), the team announced. Jeffers left Thursday’s game between the twins and White Sox at Target Field after he had taken a fault ball from his mask. The twins remembered catcher Jhonny Pereda and relegated outfielder Dashawn Keirsey Jr. On Friday before he officially placed Jeffers on the brain list on Sunday. Until Jeffers or Christian Vázquez return (which they may not be allowed to), Pereda and Mickey Gasper will split the time on the backstop position for Minnesota.
Twins Recall Outfielder Carson McCusker
To replace Jeffers on the RosterThe twins remembered that Slugging Outfielder Carson McCusker, who has two hits this season in nine record performances such as twins. For Triple-A St. Paul this year, McCusker .246/.316/.479 has lowered for a 102 WRC+ with 22 gays and 70 RBIs. He started the 2025 HOT campaign with the saints, but struggled in the second half of the season.
Twins remember right -handed pitcher Pierson OHL, DFA Right -handed pitcher Brooks Kriske
The twins decided to terminate the Brooks Kriske experiment by designating the right-handed pitcher for assignment and recovering right-handed pitcher Pierson OHL as a corresponding movement, the team announced.
Kriske, who claimed the twins from the Chicago Cubs from the Chicago Cubs at the beginning of August, allowed 15 earned points on 18 hits and 10 walks in 12 innings for Minnesota.
Brooks Kriske placed an ERA of 11.25 in 12 innings for the twins, in second place in team history among all pitchers with at least 10 innings.
Kevin Jarvis remains number 1 with a 12.46 ERA in 13 innings for the twins in 1997. https://t.co/fwpxjhfknr

When the twins Kriske claimed from exemption, they wanted to add someone with experience to eat innings after almost the entire bull pen was traded. At the end of the day, Kriske probably helped the twins to improve their chances in the Draft Lottery 2026, but that was probably not the intention of the Front Office of the twins in acquiring the former Welp.
The twins probably decided to get rid of Kriske, because he clearly has no future with the twins, while OHL has the potential to be a Major League Bullpen-arm next season. OHL, which mainly depends on a combination of four seams/changes, has made seven performances (three starts) for the twins this year and has placed a 5.66 ERA with 16 strikeouts and five free runs in 20 2/3 innings. Although he did not yet look good at the level of Big League, OHL’s Minor League statistics show the promise, because the Righty has a 2.40 ERA with 86 strikeouts and 11 walks in 71 1/3 innings in three Minor League levels this season.
