Aligning with Corey Callahan, Tuis Star sprinted away from Dancing Willow (driven by Jason Green) through an opening quarter of :30.4, and she was unopposed once she took control of the conditions. Tuis Star maintained a four-length lead over Suburban Lady on the backstretch, accelerating to three-quarters in 1:32.2 before steadily expanding her margin of clearance until the closing stages of a 2:02 mile. Rainingrainbows (Allan Davis) finished third.
