A tsunami warning was published by the US after a magnitude 7.4 on Saturday near the east coast of the Kamchatka -Schierteiland of Russia, according to the US Geological Survey.
The earthquake comes after an enormous earthquake of 8.8 Magnitude, the sixth strongest ever recorded, the region hit in July.
The USGS reported that the epicenter of the newest earthquake was 111.7 km (69.3 miles) east of Petropavlovlovsk-Kamchatsky and at a depth of about 39 km (24 miles).
It is a after -shock of the M8.8 -Aardwing that struck on July 29, and the biggest after the 8.8 “Mainshock”, according to the American Agency.
The M8.8 -Iedwing itself was preceded by various foreshocks that met the region in previous months.
Earthquakes occur when the rocky tectonic plates of the planet, floating on magma, rub against each other, release enormous amounts of energy.

As stress builds up as a result of tectonic sheet movement, the built -up energy is released as seismic waves in what is called an error mechanism.
The newest earthquake is a case of reverse errors in which the top block of rock, above the fault surface, moved up and over the bottom block.
“The location and fault mechanism of the earthquake are consistent with the errors along the subduction zone plate interface of the Kuril-Kamchatka arch,” said the USGS.
“At the location of the earthquake, the Pacific plate is West-Noordwest compared to the North American plate at a speed of approximately 80 millimeters a year,” said the American desk.
Earthquakes of this size, according to the USGS, usually include fracture dimensions of approximately 70 km (44 miles) long and 35 km (22 miles) wide.
“The after -shock was the result of superficial reverse errors,” said the desk.
The warning system of the American Tsunami has issued a threat after the earthquake.
However, there have been no immediate reports of injuries or major damage, and the number of people living in and around the region is also “limited”, according to the USGS.
There was no tsunami -warning issued in Japan, southwest of the Kamchatka peninsula, reported Omroep NHK, referring to the Japan Meteorological Agency.
