President Trump attacked Democratic Senator Richard “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal and called for an investigation into him for lying about his military service in Vietnam.
Stolen Valor Blumenthal lied for decades about being a “war hero” in the Vietnam War.
Blumenthal did not serve in Vietnam. In fact, he joined the Marine Corps Reserve and, according to him, received five draft deferments military data.
After Blumenthal was exposed for lying about his service in the Vietnam War, he came out and absurdly claimed that he had merely “misspoke” and actually meant to say that he served “during the Vietnam era.”
It was all a lie, and now President Trump wants Blumenthal investigated for lying about his military service.

In almost every speech he talked about his life in the military, especially the death who braved the dangers he faced. in his many years “fighting for freedom” while in Vietnam. He stated that “the fighting was violent and long, but there was no turning back.” – And then it happened, Blumenthal turned out to be a FRAUD,” Trump said on Truth Social.
“The soldiers in his so-called ‘platoon’ came forward and said they had no idea who this man was. He was exposed, broken, and with tears streaming from his eyes, admitted that he had lied, a Whopper, one that lasted for twenty years. This man should not even be in the United States Senate. It should be investigated, and justice should be sought. Right now, there is a Congressman in jail for talking about his past during a campaign lied. Well, those lies were nothing. compared to that of Richard “Da Nang Dick” Blumenthal, perhaps the biggest fake in the history of the US Senate. He should no longer be allowed to speak!” Trump said.
Trump turned his ire on Blumenthal on Tuesday night after US Attorney General Pam Bondi blasted the Democratic senator during testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Blumenthal suggested that Pam Bondi participated in a backdoor deal to help her former law firm partner achieve a favorable outcome in a lawsuit.
Bondi left for Blumenthal.
“I can’t believe you would accuse me of impropriety if you lied about your military service!” Bondi shouted. “You lied when you were elected U.S. Senator.”
“Never question my integrity. I have adhered to every ethical standard. Do not question my ability to be fair and impartial as attorney general,” she said.
