A federal judge in San Francisco has again prevented the Trump administration of immigration protection for immigrants from Venezuela and Haiti, in which he ruled that the step to withdraw their status was illegal.
American district judge Edward Chen determined that Minister of Interior Security Kristi calls Acted incorrectly when trying to terminate the temporary protection program (TPS) program for those groups, Polito report.
Chen, appointed by President Barack Obama, concluded that the Department of Homeland Security did not provide the correct analysis before the protection was ended. He called the effort “destined” and said that it has violated the decision -making of the federal rights policy agency.

His order, which immediately comes into effect, protects hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan and Haitian subjects against losing legal status and work permits, adds Politrico.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court allowed the administration to continue temporarily with the closing of TPS and an earlier order issued by Chen.
In his new decision, Chen said that statement did not block him to give a final opinion. He emphasized that the command of the Supreme Court was narrow and only went to the earlier, temporary order.
A spokesperson for the Homeland Security department condemned the statement and argued that the TPS system “was abused, exploited and politized as a de facto amnesty program,” Politico reports.
The spokesperson for that secretary calls each legal option to pursue the program and portray the judge as an “non -chosen activist” who impedes the public demand for stronger limits.
The ruling comes in the midst of growing disputes about whether lower courts circumvent the Supreme Court guidelines, in particular in matters that have been decided by emergency regulations.
Justices Neil Gorsuch And Brett Kavanaugh Recently criticized what they saw as judicial challenges, while some procedural judges claim that the short emergency spending of the Supreme Court creates uncertainty.
Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson Was the only justice that in the earlier order to note publicly deviating opinions that enabled the Trump government to promote its TPS decay.
The case is part of a larger fight for the mass deportation agenda, which has repeatedly been challenged for federal courts.
Although the Supreme Court has sometimes allowed the administration to continue with its immigration restrictions, lower courts such as Chen continue to push back, so that the long -term results remain restless, Politico adds.
