TRREB replaces PropTx board; plans for a management review

Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) has replaced the board of its technology subsidiary PropTx, and the new members will conduct a governance and operational review.

John DiMichele, CEO of TRREB and PropTx Innovations Inc., confirmed this in an email to Real estate magazine that TRREB’s leadership team has appointed a new interim board, replacing the previous board.

“This transition will ensure PropTx’s governance structure is optimally positioned for our next strategic planning cycle and better aligned with emerging technologies, user needs and our long-term vision to support our mission,” said DiMichele.

Members of the new board are Agostino Monteleone Daniel Steinfeld, Frank Farhangi, Colby Bayne, Anna Michaelidis and Paul Helpt.

This initiative is designed to support long-term planning and ensure the continued delivery of the innovative products and services our users rely on,” said DiMichele.

A permanent board will be appointed as part of the next phase of organizational planning, DiMichele said.

Kevin Crigger, associate CEO of TRREB, is the president of PropTx. He took on both roles last fall.

PropTx continues to work as usual. It serves nearly 90,000 real estate agents across Ontario.
