Founder Justin Sun of the billionaire Tron has filed a lawsuit against Bloomberg, which has a recent story about his cryptocurrency interests in danger of kidnapping, theft and physical injury.

Sun has brought a lawsuit against Bloomberg in the American court for the Delaware district and tried to block the publication of what he calls very confidential financial information.

In a statement, the representatives of Sun claimed Bloomberg ‘reckless and incorrect’ revealed very sensitive and own details about his wealth, including the quantities of certain cryptocurrencies he owns.

He argues that publication of this information would cause him both financially and physically ‘significant and irreparable damage’.

A Court request Describes Sun as a “successful entrepreneur” in the blockchain industry, in particular as the founder of Tron, a blockchain platform that has grown into one of the most active open networks in the world with more than 300 million accounts.

Bloomberg argued that blocking the article would violate the freedom of the press and call such orders extremely rare. The company also said that Sun will probably win his claims and that it has not broken him.

“Because the application is only looking to prevent publication, and publication took place last night, the TRO application was disputed,” said it.

Justin Sun Media -Safe

This latest dispute contributes to the history of Sun collisions with the media. In 2023, Bullish CEO Tom Farley, who owns Coindesk, removed an article about Sun after his team complained about his tone.

The story reported that Sun ate a banana that was part of a work of art by Maurizio Cattelan that he had bought for $ 6.2 million.

The removal of the article from the Coindesk site led to the resignation of senior editor Matt Murray and shortly thereafter Farley fired three top editors. Covering about the dispute was the fact that Sun’s Tron is a sponsor of the flag -ship consensus conference of Coindesk.
