This week’s livestream is tonight at midnight. I prefer to get up early and trade around 4am, but that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s just after 9 o’clock and I’m back at my desk. If I’m watching TV, I just go to sleep. When I actually do something, I don’t feel tired. At least, not until I stop!
The Australian Open went quite smoothly. Automating some of the information for the trading tips email really saves time. It also helps that the slams now prefer to start on Sundays so the first round matches are spread over 3 days instead of the usual 2. Examining 128 matches over 2 days was quite brutal.
What’s going on with the weather? We’re definitely breaking records for the amount of rain. Everywhere you go it is covered in mud. Trying to keep the dogs out on walks is a losing battle. It’s bad enough in the backyard. When I go to pick up the dog poop from the gravel, I have to put a few bags over my sneakers. Even if you are very careful, it is difficult not to step into it at all.
The test of gambling choices is promising. 49 choices so far and a 22% ROI. I’m quite happy with that, as the first few weeks of a season can be difficult to predict. Let’s see how the selection process works in a few months. There is a link to the test page in the footer of this page.
Other than that I don’t really have much to say. I’m sure there will be more drama as the season progresses. I’m going to catch up on the complete nonsense Trump spewed today. I’m not really interested in politics and wouldn’t know at least half of the British cabinet, but I still recognize most of the American government. I’m surprised there hasn’t been an assassination attempt on Trump. Obviously I’m not including the fake one where he magically grew his ear back after it was half blown off.
