Tigers move former Twin Chris Paddack to Bullpen

In general, Paddack had an ERA of 6.38 with 28 hits, five free runs and nine strikeouts in 24 innings over five starts with Detroit. Because of the struggles of Paddack, The Tigers decided to move him to the BullpenWhere the former twins flourished after the injured list returned in September 2023.

However, Paddack’s first bull pen -performance with Detroit went bad; Paddack came on Tuesday in the Tigers’ match against the Mets in Detroit with one out in the sixth inning and managed to escape the frame unharmed. The seventh inning, however, was a different story for Paddack, because he immediately surrendered back-to-back homers to All-Stars Juan Soto and Pete Alonso and continued to give up four more runs on six hits while he was replaced by Tommy Kahnle.

Although Paddack had a solid run with the twins, his peripherals suggested that regression would occur, which has clear it with the Tigers. Although Paddack has the chance to cash in and possibly in September and possibly in the late season, it is safe to say that he has returned as the pitch he has been most of his career. Although it doesn’t really matter for the twins what Paddack does with Detroit for the rest of the season, Minnesota is certainly happy that it was able to throw his and Dobnak’s contracts, especially with how Jimenez has looked into the Twins organization so far.

Prospect Enrique Jimenez, who has acquired the twins of the Tigers in the Chris Paddack trade, blooms in the small competitions

Jimenez is in a tear in 19 games for single-a Fort Myers and cuts .264/.376/.494 for a 143 WRC+ with six home runs and 16 RBI in 87 record performances. Only in Single-A at the age of 19, Jimenez will probably not be in the Majors for at least a few years, but the twins certainly like what they have seen from the young catcher so far.
