Toyota has announced that it is planning to reproduce parts and re-publish for the 4A-Ge-Motor used in the AE86 Corolla Levin and Sprinter Treno. This will be done via the GR Heritage Parts program of the company, which currently offers more than 200 parts for eight historical models, including the 2000GT, A70 Supra, A80 Supra, AE86, Land Cruiser 40, Land Cruiser 60, Land Cruiser 70 and Land Cruiser 80.
Since November 2021, the AE86 has been part of the GR Heritage Parts program, with available parts are rear brake edges, steering weapons and rear drive. From May next year the list of parts will be expanded with the cylinder head of 4a-ge and blocks of the blocks.
According to Toyota, the reproduced cylinder head of subassemblage varies from iterations because it gets extra operation that reduces the untouched cast surface. This is said that it reduces the differences between individual engines that arise from small variants in compression relationships.

The block also receives bosses and ribs for transversal assembly, which makes the installation not only possible in the AE86 but also in front -wheel drive vehicles.
These parts, together with an AE86 equipped with a motor assembled using these and parts currently sold through the program, are exhibited on the ‘Initial D 30th Anniversary 2Days’ that will take place this weekend from 13 to 14 September in Fuji Speedway.
