Tottenham Hotspur has been told to take a step for the Manchester United striker Alejandro Garnacho.
The 21-year-old is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, and he could prove to be a quality addition to Tottenham. The 21-year-old did reasonably well with Manchester United, despite struggling for regular gametime last season.
There is no doubt that he has the quality to improve Tottenham. They need more quality and depth in the attacking unit, and the South American would be a solid long-term acquisition. He could further improve with coaching and experience, and former Tottenham -goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes that Thomas Frank should be able to get the best in him.
Tottenham told Garnacho to sign
‘[Garnacho] Will he continue, right? “,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“He was their most offensive, creative, dangerous player last season, and I am surprised that they are willing to let him go.
“Tottenham; they have lost son Heung-min, Richarlison is another who could possibly leave his much arrival and going on.
‘Garnacho is certainly not a player that I would be disappointed [with] When he came through the door, I saw enough of him last year to really be impressed.
“There will be more – under Thomas Frank, [Garnacho] could develop and grow into an even greater talent than he has already been proven.
“It would be a great signing for Tottenham, if they could get him from Manchester United, which apparently is a lot easier than it looked 12 months ago.”
Can Spurs get the deal done?
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham Manchester United can convince to sell the player to them. The attacker wants to stay in the Premier League. That is why the possibility of becoming a member of the London Club will be quite exciting for him. They will be able to offer him enough opportunities and they have also offered Champions League football. There is no doubt that they have an exciting project and a quality manager. The move can be ideal for all parties.
It is still to be seen whether Tottenham can protect an agreement with Manchester United in the coming days. The player is versatile enough to work in several attacking roles and he registered 21 target contributions last season.
