Tottenham Hotspur is ‘certainly’ interested in signing Club Brugge striker Christos Tzolis TEAMtalk.
Since moving to the Jan Breydel Stadium from German side Fortuna Düsseldorf ahead of last season, the Greek has shown his productivity in the Belgian Pro League.

In his debut campaign, the 23-year-old netted 34 goals in all competitions. This season he continued to produce impressive performances, scoring ten goals and providing fifteen assists in 29 appearances across all tournaments.
Moreover, he has guided his team to win the title, sitting second in the league with one point less than table topper USG. After proving his worth in club football, Tzolis has secured his place in the starting line-up of the Greek national team.
Now, TEAMtalk claim Tottenham are unlikely to look for a new striker this month following the return of Dominic Solanke from injury. Instead, they plan to sign a new left winger as a potential replacement for Brennan Johnson.
Ideally, Thomas Frank wants a versatile winger who can play anywhere in the front line, like Randal Kolo Muani. The Lilywhites are ‘certainly’ interested in signing Tzolis and could make a concrete approach in the coming days.
However, in addition to the Club Brugge star, Tottenham are also interested in Maghnes Akliouche and Oscar Bobb, while they have been offered the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi.
Tzolis to Tottenham
Tzolis is valued at around £26 million Transfer market and has a contract until 2029. Therefore, the Belgian giants are likely to demand a high fee to let him leave mid-season.
The Greek is naturally a left-sided attacker, but is also comfortable on the other side. He is fast, technically good, can dribble past opposition defenders in tight spaces, is efficient with his wrong foot and is also efficient at creating chances for fellow attackers.
Tzolis is a very talented young player and could be a smart signing for Tottenham if they were to sign him, with Frank left with very limited wide forwards due to recent injury problems.
However, it will be interesting to see whether the north London club will ultimately take a concrete approach to securing his services before the February 2 transfer deadline.
