Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing FC Köln striker Said El Mala TEAMtalk.
Despite club legend Son Heung-min leaving last summer, the Lilywhites have not signed a natural left winger to replace the South Korea international. However, it seems that is what they are planning to do in this winter transfer window.

Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson were the main options that Thomas Frank had to use on the left flank in the first half of the season. However, they showed below-average performance.
As a result, the Danish boss occasionally used Xabi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani in this position, but they are more comfortable in the centre.
Tottenham are reportedly willing to sell Johnson, with Crystal Palace showing concrete interest in signing him. Now, TEAMtalk claim Tottenham have identified El Mala as a serious option to strengthen the left side of the attack after being impressed by his recent eye-catching performances.
However, the 19-year-old has not only caught the attention of Spurs, with Arsenal, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in signing him after closely monitoring his development.
With the player still under contract until 2030, Koln is in no rush to sell him and could demand around £35m if forced to raise money. However, the youngster is not pushing to leave just yet and is currently focusing on his development in the Bundesliga.
Conflict
Although Arsenal currently have Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli as options to deploy on the left flank, it has been suggested that Mikel Arteta is looking to improve this position.
The 19-year-old, who stands at 6 feet tall, is a versatile winger. He is fast, technically good, can dribble past opposing defenders in tight spaces and is also efficient in finishing his chances.
In fifteen Bundesliga appearances this season, he has scored six goals and provided two assists. Moreover, he helped his team survive relegation.
El Mala is a very talented player and has the potential to reach the top. Therefore, he would be a smart signing for Arsenal or Tottenham, should either club ultimately manage to secure his services in January or next summer.
