Topgolf Monona will be the company’s first golf entertainment location in Wisconsin when it opens in fall 2026.
The Monona facility will be home to 72 outdoor climate-controlled and heated battlefields, spread over two levels, on-field targets and is fully equipped with Topgolf’s Toptracer technology.
The new location, located in Monona, eight miles east of Madison, is expected to open in late 2026 and will become Topgolf’s first location. Wisconsin location.
Chris Callaway, Chief Development Officer of Topgolf, said, “We are excited to break ground on the first-ever Topgolf in Wisconsin and join the Badger family at the University of Wisconsin.
“The venue will provide a new way for locals and visitors to connect, compete and play with friends and family while experiencing Topgolf’s unique modern style of golf.”
Nancy Moore, mayor of Monona, added, “Topgolf has been looking for its first location in Wisconsin for some time, and we couldn’t be happier that they chose Monona.
“It will be a great recreation and entertainment venue, in the heart of the metropolitan area, a draw for residents and visitors alike. It will also be a key anchor for the ongoing redevelopment of West Broadway.”

The Monona Topgolf location will be located at 6400 Gisholt Drive in Monona, approximately eight miles east of Madison.
The venue will feature a full-service restaurant and bar, event space, outdoor patio, more than 100 HDTVs, music and entertainment.
