ITF World No. 1 Juniors Julieta Pareja, the Wimbledon -finalist and Ivan Ivanov van Bulgaria, the Wimbledon Champion led the list of contenders, with the seeds listed below. A comment about the boys seeds, with Nicolas Arseneault from Canada that is sown exclusively based on his ATP ranking list, which is 502. Girls are occasionally sown based on their WTA rankings, but I don’t remember the last time a boy received a seed through those ITF calculations. An interesting fact from the Girls Seeds is that none of the Top 8 played one of the ITF Junior Circuit Warm-Up J300s, with Americans Pareja and Penickova who played Women’s Qualifying open that week. Defending champion Mika Stojsavljevic van Groot -Britain, sown no. 9, played in Canada last week and lost in the semi -final.
