Before we jump into a new year, I had to pause and look back at what you all enjoyed most about 2025. And yes, I’m a few days late because the new year is in full swing, but I’ve been traveling this past week. More about that later!

These are the recipes you’ve saved, shared, cooked repeatedly, and trusted to show up when you need food to actually taste good. No shortcuts, no bland food, just real taste and recipes that work. Thank you for cooking with me, trusting me and making Stay Snatched part of your kitchen. I wish you a happy new year full of good food, full plates and even better memories.

Every year my husband and I take a New Year’s trip. This year’s trip lasted a full week and was filled with great memories. If you’re interested in where we went, I’ll share that under the recipes at the bottom of this post. If you’re only interested in the most popular recipes, then go ahead!

I always divide them into 2 groups: new recipes I made in 2025 and which were the top 10 and then the top 10 recipes including OGs, Many of these recipes remain in the top 10 every year because people love them so much.

For our vacation we stayed at Sandals St. Vincent and the Grenadines. VERY NICE RESORT. I travel often and in terms of beauty this resort is up there. It’s all-inclusive, luxurious and adults only. There are multiple restaurants, coffee shops and bakeries on site. So enough good food. Each day also has a list of activities, and I’m not talking about shuffleboard. There are so many interactive things to do.

There are also several swimming pools that are beautiful. The spa experience is great too. There is an option for massages along the river edge, where you can hear the soothing sounds of water. Of course I did and it did not disappoint.

This resort is less than 2 years old. It is very new and all the people who work there are very hospitable and nice. They want to make sure you are taken care of. Since the resort is new, I feel like there are some hospitality issues we need to work through. Meal service was very slow at times. It didn’t feel like there were enough staff working, especially considering the resort seemed to be fully booked.

The same goes for the bar service. In my opinion, no bar should be operated by only one person. Every bar should have a few different people. I also felt that communication for certain activities was lacking. Many employees were simply unaware of the logistics for certain activities and event time frames.

We were there on New Year’s Eve (the days before and the days after) and no one could tell us if there would be a party. There was a party and it was huge. But no one knew what it would entail and when it would happen, but when it did, IT WAS WORTH IT.

They didn’t pay me to go, but a lot of people wanted to know where I was on vacation, so I thought I’d share.
