Tony Ferguson no longer needs to worry about being suffocated in a cage.
After leaving the UFC last year after its eighth loss in the Achthoek, “The Cucuy’Will test his courage in the world of boxing. Ferguson will step in the ring MF & DAZN X Series 22: Ring of Thrones This Saturday, August 30 in Manchester.
Creeks with MMA FightingFerguson offered some insight into why he is looking forward to trying out boxing after participating in mixed martial arts.
“Most of the time I was in a cage was during the fighting night. So weird that shit was. At the moment I can put on shoes. I don’t have to worry about the top. I don’t have to worry about the fact that people try to stifle or do all these other sh*. The interest is there.”
Tony Ferguson is set to fill it up against Misfits boxing pillar Nathaniel ‘Salt Papi’ Bustamante in England. In general, Bustamante 6-2 is in his boxing efforts and is currently on a three-Vechtwin streak.
