Titleist shows off TPI, SM11 wedges and Scotty Cameron putters | Fully fit, episode 2026. 3

Day 3 of Fully Fit took us to the holy grail of OEM facilities: the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, California.

TPI is not just a range; it’s the largest offering you’ve ever seen, doubling as a testing facility, a 9-hole short course, a 9-hole par-3 course, a fitness center and much more. You could practically live at TPI and never need anything else to play good golf.

Jake, Johnny and I got some time to watch Sean, Maddi and Wadeh get their full-bag fittings, as we had all recently been fit through Titleist, but we all had to go through Titleist’s ball fittings and putter selections, while I got fit for a set of new Vokey SM11 wedges.

That’s where Maddi had her “aha” moment when she found a wedge that added a new shot to her game: a low spinner. Previously, she liked to play shots that rolled onto the green, but during passing she unlocked the spinner with the right grind (a 60.10S) and saw how much more reliable it could become.

The new SM11 wedges from Titleist Vokey Design feature a new, precise CG position with each grind in a loft, meaning every wedge will now perform the same way with the same shot.

Sean came in with almost a full set of Titleist golf clubs, but he wasn’t convinced his irons, a set of Titleist T100s, were just right for him. He was right, as he increased a ball speed of about 8 mph by switching to the larger T150, which also proved to be much more consistent.

Although Jake didn’t get fit for a full bag, he did get fit for one GT3 driver and found something that could finally compete with his Callaway Triple Diamond Tour Draw that had come so naturally to him this summer. Its new construction even reduced ball speed loss on mishits.

At the end of the day, Titleist gave us all the demo versions of the wedge sets we fit into and we got to play the par-3 course that falls within TPI, along with the balls we fitted into.

We even saw the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. It would certainly be hard to top the experience, but we’re only halfway through this entire journey, so there’s a lot more to come.
