Australian batsman Tim David emulated teammate Sunil Narine by copying his bowling action during the Abu Dhabi T10 league match between UAE Bulls and Aspin Stallions. The batsman was a complete entertainer in the game as he put up a stunning all-round show.

The Abu Dhabi T10 is a new tournament started to allow world cricketers to enjoy their game within a shorter period. The play marks fearless hitting from the batsman, and the bowlers don’t get enough time to settle down.

Some funny and entertaining scenes were recently noticed in the match between the UAE Bulls and the Aspin Stallions when the two teams clashed on November 30.

Tim David emulates Sunil Narine for the West Indies all-rounder

Kieron Pollard saw that the Bulls had won the match a long time ago and so brought in Tim David to bowl the final innings. With 86 runs needed for victory, Karim Janat was on the line against David.

The great Australian, who had already entertained the crowd with his stunning batting display, further ridiculed the batters as he tried out different bowling moves. In doing so, he mimicked Sunil Narine on the third ball of the over.

It is notable that Narine also plays for the UAE Bulls and is a teammate of the great Australian hitter. David gave away just 5 runs in the over and sealed the fourth win for the Bulls by a margin of 80 runs.

Tim David approached a century in the 10-over tournament

After being put into bat first, the UAE Bulls team really looked like a bull team as Phil Salt was sent on to open the innings alongside James Vince. Despite Vince’s early injury seeing him out of the field, Salt made a brief cameo appearance, but the real showman arrived when he was fired.

Tim David was sent in at No. 1. 4, and he never looked back after having the ball in his slot a few times early in the innings. A total carnage of an innings from the great Australian shattered the Stallions’ bowlers.

Tim David missed the century by just two runs as he played an unbeaten knock of 98 off just 30 balls with 12 sixes and 3 fours and a strike rate of 326.66. However, the overs were over until David could reach the three-figure mark in a game of 10 overs.

Kieron Pollard’s team are in the top 4 of the Abu Dhabi T10 points table

The Abu Dhabi T10 features a total of eight teams, with the top four teams reaching the knockouts. Currently the stallions and bulls are both in the top 4 of the competition. Bulls have won four matches and lost as many, while Stals have won four but lost three of their matches.

The UAE Bulls team is led by T20 veteran Kieron Pollard, with the all-rounder still active in global franchise leagues around the world. He has only left international cricket and is serving as a coach in the IPL. He also held advisory roles for international teams.
